Hero Electric AE-3 e-trike

Recently, Hero India has designed a dazzling concept Scooter which is totally based on the electric battery. The scooter is an e-trike which means that it has 3 wheels, but unlike the 3 wheeler auto- rickshaw it has its 2 wheel on the front side.

Components Used

This e-trike consists of a 4 kwh Lithium-ion battery and a 5 kwatt electric motor. The trike also comes with a gyroscope-enabled auto balance park features which lets the scooter stay upright when kept stationary. The front two wheels have individual mobility i.e, they have individual shockers.

Key features

The scooter have a weight of around 150 kg which is more than the usual electric scooter which has around 110 kg. Also it comes with a digital meter which enables us to read the speed as well as the battery performance of the scooter. It tooks 4.5 -5 hr to completely charge and once it gets fully charged it can ran upto 100 km with a top speed of 80 km/hr.

Launch Event

Since it is a concept which is still under testings and process, it will take time to launch in indian market, but we can expect till the end of June 2020.
